JAMIE FARRELL, PERSONAL TRAINER IN LONDON

ABOUT

Starting my career in 2009 as a fitness assistant, I’ve progressively worked within the industry for over a decade. After setting up and running 4 different gyms and 3 different training businesses, I decided that my true passion was working one to one with dedicated clients. I became a personal trainer in 2013, but sadly the industry has considerably low standards for certification. Therefore, I decided to do an MSc and a subsequent PhD in the field of exercise science to ensure I provided the best service possible. Since then I have devoted my life as an exercise scientist, specialising in the strength and conditioning of the human body. I now train clients on a regular basis privately and confidentially in London and internationally for specific projects.

TRAINING APPROACH SUMMARY

In my opinion and in summary, every workout must be guided by a foundational training philosophy. A certified ideology should underpin any effective training system and function as a constantly evolving theory of practice, that guides the client towards their own goals and ultimately the discovery of their own epistemology. This progressive method of development creates an infrastructure of values, that are guided by the advancements of modern research and the accumulation of information from peers, which subsequently creates a sustainable maturation for the persons long-term health and wellbeing.

Jamie Farrell is an exercise scientist and health consultant, specialising in the strength and conditioning of the human body. He personal trains clients on a one to one basis within/around London and in specific locations internationally.
